Description

Bowie is an adorable 4 month old (as of 8/14/26) male mix of....who honestly knows what. Right now we see some Sheltie, perhaps some Australian Cattle Dog, a smattering of Beagle possibly? Whatever the mix, it is adorable. Bowie came to us with his two siblings from Virginia. He currently weighs in at approximately 15.2 pounds, and we expect him to be a 30-35 pound adult. Bowie is the biggest and probably the boldest of the three pups. He can be a little bossy with his smaller siblings, but there always has to be one and it's all pretty harmless, honestly. He is confident, social and very thrilled with this thing called life. He loves to play, snuggle up, and love on all of his caretakers. He is the only medium haired kid in the trio, and his lovely ear floofs will capture your heart immediately. As with any puppy, Bowie is going to need plenty of attention and patience from his new family. He will need to be house trained, crate trained, obedience trained (PUPPY CLASSES YAY!) and socialized. Socialization might be one of the most important things we want for this boy (and all the pups everywhere). He needs to get out and about, meet all the people, hear all the noises, see all the things and experience this world in order to be the best that he can be as a grown adult dog. Bowie is not quite ready for adoption, but we are taking applications in anticipation of placing him in the perfect home.
