Hamish came to us with a very sad story with a last minute rescue happy ending.  Sweet Hamish knows what it's like to be left behind, but his past isn't defining his future.  He came to Paw Placement when a man walked in PetSmart with him, looking for help. He had been left behind in an apartment and he was dehydrated and very hungry. We were his last hope.  One of our fosters stepped right up and made him feel loved and safe. It turns out Hamish is the most gentle, sweet boy.  He is a lovable soul just waiting to belong to someone. If you're looking for a wonderful companion and wouldn't mind Hamish taking over your favorite chair, you just found your guy.  Hamish is at least 10 years old and he deserves a quiet, peaceful home.  He is named after a cat who became famous in St. Andrew, Scotland after a book about him was published. He had so many friends in that small town, and our Hamish is just as charming.
