Choco

Description

Choco (Chocolate) found himself in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is good with other dogs and people, and cats are unknown.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Hi! I’m Chocolate, but my friends call me Choco. I’m a little guy with two speeds: professional snuggler and full-speed athlete. If you sit down and give me a cozy spot, I’ll happily curl up with you for hours—as long as you don’t make the mistake of moving! I absolutely love being close to my people. But don’t let my cuddly side fool you. I’m also extremely playful and athletic! Running, wrestling, and playing tug are some of my favorite things, especially with my resident dog. And jumping? No big deal. Three feet in the air is nothing for me! I’m crate trained and have done wonderfully with the 5-year-old in my foster home. I’ve had a couple of potty accidents, so my future family will need to keep me on a consistent potty-break schedule while I continue learning the ropes. More than anything, I’m a fiercely loyal little dog who loves being part of the action—and then curling up right next to you when the fun is over. I give my whole heart to my people, and I have a feeling you’ll find it pretty easy to give me yours, too.
