She came to the shelter withher pals, Cash and Freedom, and after patiently waiting for their chance,they`re finally ready to start the next chapter of their lives. Now Licoriceis hoping her happy ending includes a comfy couch, loving humans, and maybea bench or two to supervise the neighborhood. This sweet girl is incredibly easy to handle. She slips right onto leash,strolls nicely by your side, and is happiest simply hanging out with herpeople. During walks she`s calm and relaxed, and when it`s time for a break,she`ll happily stretch out in the shade like she`s on a tropical vacation.If there`s a bench nearby, don`t be surprised if she hops up beside you-it`sher preferred VIP seating area. She also thinks laps are perfectlyacceptable furniture and isn`t shy about climbing in for cuddles and handingout plenty of kisses. Licorice is very social with other dogs and loves visiting with her friends.She`s played with Cash and Freedom many times at the shelter and has a greattime, although her play style can be a little enthusiastic. If you alreadyhave a dog, we`d love for you to bring them by for a meet and greet to makesure everyone clicks. She hasn`t mastered `sit` just yet, but she`s gentle when taking treats(even if she`s a little picky about the menu).
