Meet Meleys! Named after Meleys, the magnificent red dragon known as the “Red Queen” in House of the Dragon , this sweet 3-month-old girl has a much gentler personality than her fiery namesake - but she has plenty of personality waiting to come out! Meleys has a beautiful and unique tabby coat with warm orange coloring mixed throughout her stripes, giving her the prettiest hints of torti coloring.  Meleys can be shy when meeting new people. She likes to take things at her own pace, but once she gets to know you she is the sweetest girl. She loves to be pet and once she feels comfortable, she will happily approach you for attention. If you place her in your lap, she’ll even settle in and cuddle with you! She’s also an incredible little purr machine - all it takes is looking at her to get her going. Meleys is still gaining confidence when it comes to playtime and the other joys of an indoor life. We think more of her playful kitten side will come out as she continues to feel safe and comfortable, and especially after settling into a home of for own!  Meleys needs a friendly feline companion in her forever home to keep her company and help her continue building confidence. She is currently being fostered with Moo Deng, who is also available for adoption, and the two can be adopted together! She can also be adopted separately into a home that already has a friendly cat.
