FOSTER HOME or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME SF BAY AREA ***Ideally South Bay/Peninsula for easy access to trainer Pikachu is looking for a foster home. This little muppet is 3 years old and about 12lbs. Pikachu is a silly, affectionate little girl who had her heart broken when her adopters returned her after nearly a year. She thought she had a forever home, but they were unable to follow on a commitment they made to continue her training. But we are HAPPY to have her back and promise her this next home will not let her down. In her prior foster home, Pikachu lived happily with another dog. She ran around the home with a twinkle in her eye and usually a toy in her mouth. She adored her foster mom. And was a champion cuddler. Pikachu is currently learning much thanks to the help of the team at @rfrdacademy ! She is working on her leash manners. Pikachu was leash reactive and with the right leadership and the consistency of positive training, she is doing FANTASTIC! We walked with her around big dogs and small dogs and Pikachu followed our guidance and walked right past. We are looking for a home that is ready and willing to have keep on working with Pikachu. She wants a owner that will continue to set her up for success. And we are here to help with that. @rfrdacademy is located in San Jose, CA and we will provide training with David and his team. 2 sessions to reinforce the training. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption.
