Description
Although not sisters, these 2 beautiful girls were rescued from the same location close in age and have been fostered together for several years now. Yes, you heard that right, these girls have been in our program since 2023 and are more than ready to find their forever home! London came to us with a hole in her hard palate - likely from an injury as a baby kitten. She went through several extensive surgeries to repair that palate defect and although in the process needed all but 2 of her front teeth removed, her mouth is happy & healthy! In the process of these surgeries it gave her the most adorable constant grin, sometimes even having the goofiest but most adorable look on her face! Both London & Bunny are the same when it comes to needing extra time to decompress and adjust to new people and a new environment. Once adapted and comfortable London is very affectionate and loves to be around her person. Twirling in your legs giving gentle meows or rolling on her back for belly rubs is some of her adorable trademarks. She also loves other cats and welcomes feline friendships with open arms! Bunny is more on the shyer side and like most torties comes equipped with a bit of “tortie-tude”. She really needs time to fully trust and even then can be a bit timid if she’s unsure of something. Since she was a kitten when she gets startled she’ll give a little hiss but then realizes she’s safe and stops. Once she trusts her person she has the sweetest meow and will come rub against you, purring and enjoying full body pets. When she’s very excited about being pet she can get a little overstimulated and may give a little nibble. She loves chasing cat pole toys or chewing on her favorite catnip filled cat toy. Treats, play and some pets is sure to win her over over time. Bunny prefers her space when it comes to other cats, however as long as there is plenty of room in the home she adjusts over time if introduced slowly and properly Although you likely won’t see these girls cuddling or giving each other bathes, we have kept them together because London’s more friendly side helps encourage Bunny to be brave in new situations. We believe having each other, as they have had since we rescued them, will greatly help them to adjust to a forever home. London & Bunnys ideal home: •Indoor only •Calm & quiet household with no children •With someone experienced with shy cats. BONUS points: Someone experienced with torties and reading body language when it comes to their “tortie-tude” •Someone willing to finally give them their forever home no matter how long it takes them to acclimate! Please email to inquire more about these girls and their long-term foster mom will be happy to give you additional info. info@catsupport.net Serious inquires only please.
