Available for Adoption: Meet Kal!Kal is one of the most patient, gentle, and loving dogs you could ever hope to meet. When Kal came into our care, he was recovering from a severe dog bite that wasn't healing despite months of treatment. During surgery, our veterinarian discovered the underlying cause—a Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TVT). The tumor was successfully removed, and after four chemotherapy treatments, Kal made a full recovery. Today, he is healthy, TVT-free, and ready for his forever home. What makes Kal truly special is his incredible spirit. Through every exam, bandage change, surgery, and treatment, he never complained. If we said, "Let us see," he would roll onto his back and patiently let us care for him. His trust and resilience amazed everyone who met him. Kal is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and wonderful with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes. He is affectionate, well-mannered, obedient, and an absolute joy to be around. Kal has overcome more than any dog should ever have to. Now all he needs is a family to love him as much as he will love them. He has had 2 vet visits, is neutered, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal tests. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments.
