Available for adoption in the SF Bay Area  Marnie — 1 year • 8 lbs • Chihuahua Mix Marnie is a gentle, affectionate young dog who thrives on closeness and routine. She’s fully potty trained and enjoys leisurely walks around San Francisco. She is doing well with the city's active environment. Marnie may react briefly to large dogs but settles quickly. Marnie and her foster sister walk great together. Marnie loves sleeping near her person! She has a calm, low‑energy temperament that would suit a quieter household. Marnie gets along well with other small dogs so would easily fit into a multi-dog household. But if she's an only "child" she would be happy to have all the focus on her. She occasionally plays with toys, especially small tennis balls. Marnie is currently uncomfortable around men. Her foster parents are working on desensitization using positive reinforcement (“treat bombing”) and it is successful with Marnie and her foster dad. She is now allowing him to pet her! Adopters should be prepared to continue this training. Marnie is a loving, loyal companion who will flourish in a patient, understanding home. Marnie is spayed, vaccinated and current on her vaccines. Don't wait! Apply now for this tiny little princess!
