Please don’t judge a book by its cover — King’s ears may not stand up, but that’s character, not a flaw. In fact, it just makes him even more adorable. Stunning 15 month old King is a big, goofy, high‑energy young sable shepherd with a heart as huge as his personality. He’s a total teddy bear who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He will chase cats, but he doesn’t hurt them — he just can’t resist the fun of the chase. Like most young shepherds, King will thrive with structure, consistency, and continued training. He loves going on walks and takes treats gently. He needs an active home with a fenced yard, and another playful dog who can match his energy would be amazing — or at least regular opportunities to play with other dogs. King is currently stuck in boarding, and he desperately needs out. A local foster would make a world of difference for him while he waits for his forever home.
