Nora is a 1 year old female German Shepherd mix, and is the kind of girl who gets second looks wherever she goes. With her beautiful face, lovely presence, and adorable nubby tail, Nora has a special charm all her own. She can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but give Nora just a little time and you’ll see her warm, sweet personality begin to shine. She is very sweet, well-behaved, and loves spending time with people. Nora is also a wonderful walking companion, being easy on a leash and an overall polite girl. Her good manners combined with her intelligence, make us think she will be a fast learner with her forever family. This gorgeous girl is all set to leave shelter life behind and find someone who will appreciate what a special pup she is. In return, Nora will bring them the kind of loyal companionship and unconditional love that makes a dog truly become family. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
