General info
Description
Comet is a fantastic cat! Heâs definitely a cat loverâs catâand if you arenât a cat lover yet, you just might be after meeting him! Comet is a social guy who loves having long conversations with anyone willing to listen (and even those who arenât!). Heâ ll happily come right over to greet anyone who stops by to visit.Comet arrived with two broken teeth and a cracked palate, which our vet suspects were the result of trauma to his face. He has since had a dental procedure to remove the broken teeth and repair his palate, and he is recovering extremely well. For now, Comet is eating wet food only while he continues to heal.We think Comet could be happy as your one-and-only kitty or with feline friends. He has not had experience with dogs.Comet is also FIV+. Donâ t let that scare you! Weâ ve learned so much about FIV over the years. A diagnosis that was once devastating has become something we understand much better, and FIV+ kitties can live long, happy, wonderful lives. ??If youâ re looking for a social, talkative, affectionate cat with a BIG personality, Comet may be your guy!OTHER PETS: Comet has lived with other cats. Comet has had no experience that we are aware of with dogs.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Comet may be a good kitty for someone newer to kitty guardianship.KIDS: Comet is best suited for older kiddos and up.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Comet is more of ac ouch potato here but we would not be surprised to learn he enjoys playing with a jingle ball or catnip mouse.VETERINARY CARE: Comet is looking forward to meeting his new vet and receiving on-going vet care. As a kitty who is FIV+ he should see his vet annually.LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: We expect Comet to move pretty easily into his new home.GROOMING: Comet takes wonder care of his handsome Orange Tabby coat.
