Mille Lacs*

Description

Mille Lacs (Millie) is a sweet, fun-loving blue heeler mix pup with beautiful markings.  She loves to wrestle around with her siblings as well as run around the backyard to explore.  She knows how to sit already and is learning to lie down for treats.  She is currently doing very well with pee pads and the transition to being house trained, during which she goes bathroom outside shortly after exiting the house.  She has done very well meeting other people and has seemed indifferent to the one neighboring dog so far.  She has had a non-aggressive approach to the cats in the house, rather just curious at this point.  At times, she will approach to be picked up and just snuggle on my lap.  She would be best in a home that will allow her to use her heeler energy as she continues to grow.       Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
