Meet Calypso a young mom looking for a fresh start! Calypso came to us after being abandoned with her 6 puppies at a trailer. With no one to feed or water her, a good Samaritan stepped in and brought Calypso and her babies to the AWL to be cared for. Now that they are in our care everyone is fixed and up to date on vaccines which means they wont continue to add to our already very large dog population. And we are sure that Calypso is happy to know that she will not have to raise litter after litter as a stray and she can just go out and live the life all dogs deserve. Calypso loves everyone she meets and is so excited each day to go on her walks. She likes the company of other dogs as well and doesn't seem to mind the cats she has meet here at AWL. Calypso seems to know basic commands and listens well. She still has young dog energy but not overly puppy. Making her a great pick for a family who wants a young active dog but also one who will chill at night and just keep their feet warm!
