Description

Poppy was brought to the shelter along with her single nursing kitten, Seed. She’s been treated for scabies and ringworm. This beautiful feline is a bit timid so will need a patient adopter. Once you’ve gained her trust, she’s an absolute love bug, purrs like a motor boat and loves being pet. She is now thriving and healthy, and will be ready for her forever home after being spayed this week (Aug. 19th). She would do best in a home with no other cats, unless adopted along with her baby. She’s very fearful of other cats and will aggressively go after them. We can only imagine the trauma she endured outdoors before being brought to the shelter. Poppy has not yet been exposed to kids or dogs. She is sweet, playful and affectionate though a bit fearful. She is litter box trained.  Adoption fee is $50 and includes vaccinations, spaying, feline  leukemia/FIV testing  and microchip.
