Sandy (11.5 years old) Sandy is a sweet and gentle senior cat who enjoys being petted lightly and massaged around the sides of his face and the back of his head and neck. He can be shy at first and would like you to provide him with some cubbyholes and cat caves where he hide if he wishes. This handsome orange tabby with pale green eyes has lived most of his life in an adult-only home where an older couple kept him as the only pet and object of their affections. Going forward, Sandy needs the same kind of warm and serene home with no other pets and no children. Once he gets to know you, he will quietly sit beside you and keep you company. He especially enjoys being next to you if you are sitting on the couch or in an oversized armchair. Sandy is not too old to play, so give him some toys, and invite him to play-sessions with you and a feather wand toy.
