Meet Mongo!! Border Collie/Australian Shepherd Mix — Male, 2 Years Old This beautiful Red with White Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix weighs about 55 pounds. He was picked up by Animal Control as a stray. He tested positive for Lyme Disease and is currently receiving antibiotics. He is friendly with new people and does well with children, adults, and other animals. He may not always realize his size, so supervision around smaller children is recommended. He has high energy and will benefit from regular exercise and structure. He is a little nervous during thunderstorms and may need reassurance during loud weather. He is still learning his house manners, and his foster reports that he has a lot of potential overall as he continues to adjust and learn. Mongo has been with our rescue for only a short time, so we are still getting to know him. Stay tuned for more updates as he settles in! He is being fostered in Westville, Indiana.
