Named after Chicago, the Windy City, this girl came to Okie Pet Rescue with a full passenger load—10 Route 66 puppies! Talk about a road trip with a lot of stops. Now that all 10 of her little travelers are ready for the next leg of their journey, Windy is ready to start her own adventure.Windy is a little… cautious about the itinerary. New places? New people? Strange noises? She would prefer to pull over, check the map, and make certain everyone knows what they’re doing before proceeding.She’s very shy and easily intimidated by new things, so she needs a little time to warm up. But once she decides you’re part of her crew and she knows the route is safe, she settles right in—and that's when her silly side comes out.Windy is: Very submissive with other dogs — no road rage here! Cat-curious — she may need to make a quick sightseeing stop to investigate. House trained with a dog door — she knows where the next exit is. Crate trained — perfectly happy to have her own little travel compartment. An excellent car rider — apparently, this girl was born for Route 66.
