Meet Nova Nova is a sweet, nearly 4-month-old pup who is still learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place. At 14.2 pounds, she’s growing into a lovely little girl with plenty of puppy personality still to come! Nova can be a bit skittish with people and may need some patience and encouragement as she builds confidence. She loves following her people, although she may still dart away when they turn around. She seems to enjoy exploring the lawn more than walking on sidewalks and is still working on her leash skills—sometimes deciding that the best place to be is right where she plops down! Nova is crate trained and has already had her first successful poop outside. She’s continuing to learn and gain confidence each day, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of her personality as she experiences new people, places, and adventures. Nova is up to date on her puppy vaccines. She will need to be spayed and microchipped at around 6 months old at our vet in Holmdel, NJ. Her adoption donation is $600. If you’re looking for a sweet puppy who will benefit from a little patience, love, and guidance as she blossoms, Nova may be your girl! - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
