 Meet Cedric Cedric was born in the desert and was rescued when he was around 9–11 weeks old. When he arrived in foster care, he was surrounded by younger kittens—and from the very beginning, Cedric took on the role of their protector. While the little ones were still learning that humans could be trusted, Cedric kept them tucked safely close to him. He was their brave big brother, giving them comfort while they figured out their new world. Cedric can be a little slow to warm up at first, but take the time to get to know him and you’ll discover an incredible personality. Once he decides you’re his person, he’ll go from hanging back to greeting you at the door, asking for treats, and making sure he’s first in the food bowl.  He’s curious about dogs and especially interested in older cats. And when Cedric really, really likes you? He gives kisses.  Cedric is the kind of cat who rewards patience with a friendship that feels truly special. He may need a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, you’ll have a loyal, affectionate, funny companion who knows exactly how to make himself part of the family. Cedric is looking for someone willing to give him the time to show you who he really is.
