He’s had his fair share of world travels and adventures, but along the way, he’s had to learn how to protect himself and stay safe. Now, Tux is ready to leave those days behind and discover just how wonderful life can be when you have a safe and loving family. Tux is ready to trade his traveling adventures for the cozy life of a cat of leisure. He’s dreaming of sunny window spots, peaceful naps, comfy beds, and a family who will show him that he no longer has to worry about the world around him.  Because Tux is used to looking out for himself, he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But with time, patience, understanding, and plenty of love, he’ll begin to feel safe and secure. As his confidence grows, you’ll get to see his fun-loving personality emerge. Tux is ready for a new chapter—one filled with cozy naps, sunny days, gentle affection, and the love of a forever family. He’s done with life as a street explorer and is ready to enjoy the good life he deserves. Tux arrived at the rescue with his friends Sweet pea, Suzy, and Chaucy, and while he’d certainly love to continue his journey with one of them, he’s also happy to be adopted on his own. If you already have a friendly, social cat looking for a new best friend, Tux could be the purr-fect match.
