I’m a 1½-year-old sassy girl with a little bit of sugar, a little bit of spice, and plenty of personality!  I came to the shelter because my previous owner became ill and could no longer care for me. It was a big change, but I’m ready to find a new person who appreciates an independent lady like me. I really do enjoy being around people. I’m perfectly happy hanging out nearby, keeping you company and supervising whatever you’re doing. But there’s one important thing you should know: I am NOT a pick-me-up-and-carry-me-around kind of girl! I prefer all four paws firmly on the ground, thank you very much.  I know what I like, and I’m not afraid to let you know—which is where my sassy side comes in! Give me some catnip, a comfy place to lounge, and the freedom to be myself, and I’ll be one happy Sprinkles. Because I like my space and have clear boundaries, I need an adult-only home with no children. I’m looking for someone who understands independent cats and won’t expect me to be a lap cat or enjoy being held. If you’re looking for a funny, independent companion who wants to be with you without necessarily being ON you, I might be your girl. If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
