Lainey *Petite Princess*

Description

Lainey is a petite, young, pit bull mix, weighing around 35lbs. Lainey was transferred to CCRC after living outside on a chain, malnourished, with fly strike to her ears and back as well as exposed bone on her tail. She has since had her tail amputated and it has healed up fabulous. Her ears and back have scabbed over and hair is regrowing and she has gained some healthy weight. Lainey is slowly learning that life doesn’t have to be so terrible.    Lainey would do best with a patient owner who is willing to show her how great life can be. Lainey loves her people and is a total cuddle pup once she feels safe. She also would do best in a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time. She’s a homebody and likes to be there with her people. Lainey does best with slow introductions for humans and other dogs. She would need to meet other dogs in the home prior to adoption. Lainey has done great with potty training and rarely has any accidents in the house or crate. She is a huge lover of treat toys and likes to play fetch specifically with tennis balls. She is food motivated and eager to please when it comes to training. Lainey is patiently waiting for the best family for her needs and has a lot of love to give to her forever family.
