Description

Hello! Alpine here. I'm a handsome tabby boy with pretty yellow eyes. I'm gentle, sweet, and talkative, but I need to be comfortable with you. You see - I'm a bit of a shy, cautious guy. Fast movements or loud sounds scare me. But if things are calm and we know each other, I truly enjoy attention and will seek it out. In fact, I turn into a silly wiggly worm when getting petted - often flopping over to show my belly and squirming all over the place to get those extra deep ear and chin scratches that feel so good. Being held scares me but I like to be where you are.  I'll sleep with you sometimes at night and I'll regularly follow you around the house. I'll also "yell" at you to get more attention.  I am a playful guy, liking to chase toys and wrestle with my sister. I also like jumping and getting up high, like on the cabinet above the fridge so I can see everything going on. I am fully litterbox trained. Due to my young age, it would be ideal for me to be in a home with another feline. Because of my more timid personality, I would probably be best in a home without young children. (Sibling: Arctic)
