Meet Cafe, a 2-year-old, 75-pound Mastiff mix whose happy personality has made him a favorite with the shelter's summer interns.Cafe loves getting out to explore the world. On a recent Doggy Day Out, he enjoyed strolling along the river, taking in all the sights, sounds, and people while being a wonderful outdoor companion. He rides quietly in the car, is house-trained, and once he settles into a walk, he has nice leash manners for a dog his size.One of Cafe's favorite things in the world is figuring out how to earn a tasty treat! His excellent food motivation makes training both fun and rewarding. He already knows some basics, takes treats gently, and enjoys enrichment activities like scent games and treat puzzles that keep his smart mind busy. Positive reinforcement brings out the very best in him, and he'll enjoy continuing to learn with a family that likes spending time together.Like many young dogs, Cafe has plenty of playful enthusiasm, but he's also shown he can relax and enjoy simply being with his people.
