UPDATE: Harley is a sweet rescue girl making real progress every day. She's mastered the doggie door for potty breaks (pee training is still in the works!).   She is learning to share and take turns with her fur siblings, and has really come out of her shell with the people in her life.   She's a total snuggle bug with adults — happy to hop in a lap and shower you with kisses.  She loves a plush dog bed or a cozy spot under the covers. She's food-motivated and a good eater, which makes training easy and fun.  A few things her new family should know: Harley doesn't love being picked up, isn't a fan of leashes just yet, and gets startled by loud noises. She'd rather skip the neighborhood walk, but she'll happily take a slow stroll at her own pace. Patient, gentle adopters will find a loyal, affectionate girl underneath it all — Harley just needs a little time and a lot of love.   Harley is a lovely senior girl who has completed her vetting and is ready to find her forever home. She knows exactly what she likes and is happiest when she’s close to her person. Harley does not care for a crate and much prefers sleeping in the big bed, curled up snugly under the covers. She does best with older children, as she isn’t a fan of little ones pulling on her tail. A true lap dog at heart, Harley would happily spend the entire day in your lap if you’d let her.
