Meow meet Guinness! Guinness is a senior black gentleman who has every reason to have lost faith in people, yet somehow, he never lost his capacity to love. His owners left him behind when they moved, leaving him in unsanitary conditions and a life no cat should have to endure. We don’t know what his earlier years were like or how he came to be part of that home. What we do know is that through it all, Guinness remained a sweet, gentle, loving boy. New surroundings make him a little shy at first. Loud sounds and sudden movements can make him skittish. But give him a quiet place and a little time, you’ll see the real Guinness emerge. He’s an affectionate soul who loves to nuzzle, make biscuits, and lean into those wonderful behind the ear scratches. Guinness isn’t looking for a busy household or a lot of excitement. He needs someone patient who will let him settle in at his own pace and show him that this time, he’s safe. After being left behind once, this gentle old soul deserves to know what it feels like to finally belong somewhere - and to have someone who chooses him and never leaves!
