***Bailey will be transported to New Jersey and placed into a foster home on Aug 22nd. While an application for her adoption can be submitted at anytime on our website (socorescue.com), she won't be released to her new home until a week after receiving her second "puppy" vaccine, per our adoption policy (or approx Sept 1st). Questions about Bailey and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Bailey was only about 7 weeks old when she appeared in the yard of a Dublin, GA family. She was very thin, hungry and covered in fleas and ticks. Obviously, this young pup had been on her own for much longer than she should have been and it's a miracle that she survived. Thankfully, she landed at the home of a very compassionate couple who immediately contacted our rescue seeking help for her. Bailey was able to make a full recovery from her time as a stray due to the dedication of our wonderful staff. Since arriving, she's become very playful, friendly and doesn't show any signs of having ever been so close to death. Bailey's wonderful personality will make her a great addition to any family who desires to adopt a young puppy. As stated previously, Bailey has received 1 of 3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines and been de-wormed at proper intervals. She's just started receiving her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and will be kept UTD on them until her adoption. Her adopter must agree to having Bailey spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Bailey will require all of her basic training.
