Description

Some dogs wag their tails to tell you they love you. I use my eyes. I'm River, and if we meet, don't be surprised if you catch me staring at you. I have a way of looking at my people that says everything I'm feeling without making a sound. Whether I'm showing off my perfect "stay" or following you from room to room, I just love being with my people. I'm still a puppy, so life is one big adventure. I have a goofy little flop in my walk that makes everyone smile, a tongue that's much longer than it needs to be, and a playful spirit that's always ready for fun. I've already mastered sit, stay, and potty training, and I'm getting closer to figuring out this whole fetch thing. Treats and belly rubs are my love language, so teaching me new things is easy! I love other dogs, people, car rides, walks, and even long hikes. When the day is over, I simply flop onto my bed and sleep peacefully until morning. One thing to know about me is that I prefer a gated space over a crate. I've worked really hard on becoming confident when my people leave, and now I do great relaxing in my own little area with a few chew toys until everyone gets home.
