If you’re looking for a best friend who believes every lap was made just for him, Reese is ready to fill that role! This happy little guy has a warm, personable personality and loves being included in whatever his people are doing. Whether you’re heading out for a car ride, relaxing at home, or simply moving from room to room, Reese will happily be right by your side. Reese is playful without being over-the-top and especially loves chasing balls and carrying around his favorite small toys. He gets along well with the two large dogs in his foster home and has the cutest little bouncing gait when he’s running around with them. While he can be a bit cautious when meeting new people or dogs, it doesn’t take long for his curiosity to shine through and turn into playful friendliness. When the fun is over, Reese’s favorite place is curled up in your lap, soaking up all the snuggles he can get. He’s affectionate, generous with kisses, and gentle with children. At bedtime, he’s a perfect gentleman in his crate, sleeping quietly through the night and keeping it clean. He’s also done well being left out of his crate for short periods and may be trustworthy for longer stretches as he settles into his new home. With his adorable scruffy chin, expressive ears, and loving personality, Reese is the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will happily play one minute and cuddle the next, Reese is ready to steal your heart.   Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
