Description
***Lylah will be transported to New Jersey and placed into a foster home on Aug 22nd. While an application for her adoption can be submitted at anytime on our website (socorescue.com), she won't be released to her new home until a week after receiving her second "puppy" vaccine, per our adoption policy (or approx Sept 1st). Questions about Lylah and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Lylah and her three siblings (Lilith, London and Lennox) were only 2-3 weeks old when they were brought to SoCo Rescue by another rescuer. Apparently, the mom to the pups had stopped feeding them, resulting in the death of a fifth puppy. Our wonderful shelter manager, Tina Morgan, not only bottle fed the pups, she also nursed them back to health. All four pups are now doing great and almost ready to find their forever homes. Lylah and her sister Londyn are only half the size of her other two siblings, but still have as much love and friendship as their larger siblings. Lylah has also become very well socialized towards people and should do very well when adjusting into a new home. As stated previously, Lylah has received 1 of 3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines and been de-wormed at proper intervals. She's just started receiving her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and will be kept UTD on them until her adoption. Her adopter must agree to having Lylah spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Lylah will require all of her basic training.
