Hi, I’m Manuka, an adorable little kitty who has already been on quite the adventure. My journey began on the streets, and thankfully, I was rescued and given the chance to find a safe and loving forever home. Because the beginning of my life was a little rough, I can still be nervous and timid when meeting new people. Sometimes I may hiss or growl when I’m feeling scared, but that’s simply my way of protecting myself while I figure out that I’m safe. I’m still learning that people can be kind, gentle, and caring, and I’m working hard on my social skills and building my confidence. The good news is, I’m making progress every day. With a safe environment, patience, understanding, and lots of love, I know I’ll continue to blossom. Once I feel comfortable, you’ll get to see my fun-loving spirit shine. Even though I’m still a little shy and can be timid, I have a wonderfully playful side. I love having fun and will keep you smiling with my adorable kitty antics. All I need is someone willing to give me the time and love I deserve. In return, I’ll show you just how special I am.
