Description

Lance is a rambunctious sweet boy who enjoys being right near you—hip to hip on the couch, or right at your feet. He likes to be directly in the middle of what you are doing: you will find him sitting in the dustpan as you are sweeping, jumping into your laundry basket as you are doing laundry, and being extremely interested about what is in the refrigerator. He gets wildly excited during litter box cleaning. He is cautious and wary at first, but not aggressive. If he is startled, he can sometimes hiss in fright. While he will quickly engage in play quickly afterwards. Whenever his sister is getting attention, Lance will run over and want pets and to play. He loves string and ribbons and small toy balls. He is a happy little dude and quick to purr. He accepts gentle body pets and rolls over on his belly for more attention. He tolerates being held for a couple minutes and then becomes quite worried and squirmy. He is not a lap cat. Lance is a social guy and would do well with a fellow kitty or friendly cat companion, or a friendly calm dog. Toddlers would scare him, but he would do well with cat-loving teens and being in a family home with energetic owners who give him lots of play time. He is not clever but makes up for it in sweetness and shenanigans. He certainly will bring you much love & joy!
