OPALITE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name:  Opalite          Best Guess for Breed:    Terrier mix   Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of May 2026        SEX:     Female   Estimated Weight:    25 lbs as of 4/12/2026 - she is still growing!    Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but are happy to discuss integration techniques with any interested adopters.    Currently Living at:   DC area foster home Watch this video of Opalite taking a walk with her friend Lily!   Watch this video of Opalite playing with her toys!   Watch this video of Opalite enjoying her bone!   Special Adoption Considerations:   Because Opalite is more comfortable with another dog around, she'll need to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Opalite is Looking For:    Hiya! I'm Opalite! My brother Odin and I have enjoyed growing up together but now we're ready to split up and find our very own forever homes! I want nothing more than to trot through the world with the confidence of a well-loved dog, but right now I haven't seen enough of it and I can be a little shy. I'm looking for extra patient and loving humans who get me and will help my braves grow! I want a friendly resident dog who will show me how to dog too. And we all can go on all those great adventures together!I promise to give you so much love and loyalty in exchange. What do you say? Do you have room in your home and your heart for me?What My Foster Says About Me: Opalite is very sweet and likes to cuddle. AND she is smart and treat motivated, which makes training fun!    She enjoys her walkies and does well when she meets people on walks- and loves playing with other ogs too.    Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.   TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
