She absolutely loves her people and soaks up every bit of affection she can get. Ellie is great with kids and other dogs and loves to play with squeaky toys. She’s also very food motivated and eager to learn! She knows sit and is working on down and stay. She walks nicely on a leash and would benefit from continuing consistent leash training as she settles into her new home. After a little post-meal zoomie session, Ellie is happy to settle right down on the couch—her favorite spot—and enjoy a good nap and some serious snoring! She also sleeps peacefully in her crate all night. Ellie is a wonderful, affectionate girl who is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful Boxer who loves her people and is eager to please, Ellie may be your perfect match! Ellie is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and has completed her heartworm treatment. Her adoption fee is $500. - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
