***Ivan is scheduled to attend our upcoming adoption event at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the Aug 22-23 weekend. Questions about Ivan and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** As a woman was preparing to leave for work one morning, she noticed that three very young puppies were huddled together underneath her car. All three were thin, covered with fleas and looked to be very scared and confused. After no owner was located, she brought them to our rescue. We're not yet positive of their breed mix, only assuming that there's some Lab mix to them. Ivan may be slightly smaller than his two siblings, but he more than makes up for that with his larger-than-life personality. He's very playful, spirited and smart. He's adapted very well to his new surroundings and seems to thrive on human contact. Given proper training, Ivan will make someone a great addition into their home. Ivan has now received 2 of his first year puppy vaccines, de-wormed at proper intervals and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. He will require all of his basic training.
