Look who’s coming around! Meet Sentry. Tuxedos seem to be popping up everywhere in the rescue world lately—at least around here! But we wanted to make sure this particular little tux didn’t get lost in the crowd.Remember our Fort Kitties, the two little boys found underneath the fort at our local fairgrounds? This is Sentry now. ❤️His brother Bailey decided pretty quickly that humans weren’t so bad. Sentry has taken a little more convincing. But look at him! He is coming around beautifully and turning into such a little doll.And those eyes. They take everything in. Sentry watches, studies and decides for himself when something—or someone—is safe. Once he does, we’re getting to see more and more of the sweet boy hiding behind all that caution.Now would be such a wonderful time for his forever family to find him. He’s learning to trust and forming relationships, and we’d much rather see him make that final connection with his own person than become completely attached to us and have another transition become harder later.Sentry doesn’t need someone who expects an instant lap cat. He needs someone who can give him a little patience, let him watch and learn, and enjoy being the person who finally earns those beautiful eyes looking at them with complete trust. Please share Sentry. His family may simply not know he’s waiting for them yet.
