Sawyer

Description

Sawyer made a great first impression on ITV staff. First, he looked like one of our past rescue favorites, a mix named Maggie that required special ear surgery. Second, he hopped up and gave our assistant kennel manager a hug. Third, he's a boxer mix, which we love. Sawyer's family loved him a lot too, but they unfortunately no longer had a place to live. They said, "We rescued him from a pound. He is very sweet to children. He has been around ages 3-12. He has been socialized with other dogs of all sizes. He walks around them sniffing and being playful. We used to excercise him by going on walks around the park and in the backyard. He is social; he likes people and other pets." Sawyer is estimated to be around 1.5 years and weighs 63 lbs. He knows basic commands like sit and is extremely treat-motivated. When treats are present, he has a great heel that should be easy to improve on.
