GRANITE*

Description

Meet Granite, the sweet female kitty! Granite arrived to the Shelter as a stray. She was so friendly that a good samaritan just carried her in their arms into the Shelter. Granite had some kittens that she arrived with (who are growing big and strong in a foster home). This mama cat is ready to be babied herself now. Granite is a purr machine and a professional head-butter. She has a history of being outdoors and may do well as an indoor-outdoor cat after a period of acclimation to her new enviornment and people (at least 30 days). A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduciton. Granite is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week. Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
