Riott (A140129) is an 10-month-old Pitbull Chow x Chow mix who weighed 58.2 pounds on intake! 08/12/26 Riott was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for his new place to call home! He was returned to the shelter because the small kiddos in the home kept opening the door, and we would make his great escape. He was said to be a very energetic and an outdoorsy boy! He is playful with lots of personality! Riott was said to do great with the kiddos in the home and loves to meet new people but will jump up on them to say hi. He was also said to get along well with other dogs but has no experience with cats or smaller critters. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions to help set him up for success. Riott was said to be housebroken, rides well in a car, and knows his basic commands (however, he does not generally mind well). It was also noted that he has poor recall. However, he is a young pup with lots of potential! He would love to find a new home where he can go on plenty of adventures! They also felt he would love a fenced-in yard to play in! Puppies are lot of work but worth the reward! Keep in minding when bringing a puppy home that they are just babies and will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. Puppies are known to whine and chew on everything! Providing them with appropriate chew toys is important (especially as they are teething)! These pups are quite the characters and little roly polys!
