Description
THIS IS A COURTESY POST ONLY. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ARF DOG. THIS DOG WILL BE SPAYED BY THE OWNER PRIOR TO ADOPTION. Atris is a 3 year old female Siberian Husky who weighs in at 40 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $350. If you are still interested, please read more below. Atris was rescued by her humans about 1.5 years ago from the breeder she came from. She was getting rehomed because of the previous owners’ health issues. It is suspected she was severely abused by either the breeder or past owner – she is a very nervous dog. She does eventually warm up to you and loves to cuddle with you. She loves long pack walks and loves running around with the other dogs that live in the house. Atris is good with most dogs – she tends to prefer them over humans. However, she doesn’t do too well with dominant female dogs. She is mostly housetrained, but she needs a lot of outside playtime or long walks so that she doesn’t potty in the house. She walks with a pack fine, but on a leash by herself she tends to be all over the place – so additional training will be beneficial! Her favorite treat is frozen goat milk. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.
