***Cyrie is scheduled to be transported to NJ and be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes over the Aug 22 & 23 weekend. Questions about Cyrie and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.***   On a hot, muggy June morning, 11 tiny puppies were found abandoned in a ditch in Uvalda, GA. We know they were purposely left there due to the presence of human foot prints, not paw prints, that were found in the mud around the nearly 3 week old puppies. Two of the pups were already deceased by the time they were found and a third pup passed away while en route to SoCo. The remaining eight pups, all severely dehydrated and covered in mud, were clinging to life with every bit of hope they had.    Playful, affectionate and full of personality, Cyrie is going to make some lucky person very happy. She loves playing with other pups and will do very well in a home with another dog.    As of August 6th, Cyrie has received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines and will be due her third vaccination on August. 27th. She's also been de-wormed on multiple occasions and even started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She will require all of her basic training and her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue.
