Hi.  I don't have a last name, and my story didn't start in a cozy place - but it's getting better.  Not long ago, I was living on the streets.  I'm one of the lucky ones.  I was rescued and fostered by kind humans that fed me, socialized me and made me feel safe.  I do have a special need to take medicine everyday for acid reflux, like a Pepcid AC.  You know how it is.  I'm also FIV positive, which means I have feline AIDs, from bite wounds that I received living on the streets.  Feline AIDS is not a death sentence.  It does weaken my immune system, but it cannot be passed on to humans and with normal care, I'm able to live a long and healthy life.  Now I'm ready.  I'm ready for a forever home with a loving family.      If you're looking for a companion, a quiet presence, a playful friend, or a soft purr at the end of a long day......  I might be the one you've been waiting for.      Love,   Laddie
