Description
Hi! My name is Willow and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after no one came looking for me I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list". See, everyone pretty much just ignored me as I was pretty much a hot mess when I first came in but BCAA saw past all of that and when contacted about helping me, they said yes! Unfortunately, my hair was so matted on my body and legs I had to be mostly all shaved down but the groomer was able to keep it long on my head and my tail so you can see and feel how pretty I'm going to be once my hair grows all back. My foster mom says even without all of my hair, I'm super cute and have the personality to match as I'm super sweet. I'm just about a year old and only weigh a little under 11lbs and am not expected to get much bigger. While I was a little shy when I first got into foster, it didn't take me long to come around and learn to trust and enjoy receiving lots of attention. I've also gotten along with all of the other small foster dogs I've met and haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding; however, I would really prefer to be out and about with you. I'm ok on leash once I have learned to trust you but might need a little more practice. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
