Meet Lucky! Lucky is a 7-year-old Cockapoo (23lbs) who recently found himself at the shelter after his owner had to surrender him due to a move. And honestly…Lucky doesn’t quite understand why he’s here. He has definitely been feeling sad and seems to be waiting for his family to come back for him. We know that with a little time, patience, and lots of love, this sweet boy will start to feel safe and comfortable again. Lucky lived as the only pet, so we don’t yet know how he feels about other animals. He has lived with children and enjoys being around his people. He’ll also need a little help learning the ropes of leash walking. It doesn’t appear that he had much experience being walked on a leash, so he’s still figuring out that whole “walk nicely beside my person” thing! A fenced yard would be wonderful for Lucky while he gets settled and learns. He needs a patient home willing to give him the time he needs to adjust, decompress, and discover that his next chapter can be a happy one.  Let’s help Lucky go from feeling lost to feeling LUCKY again!
