Millie is a smart and playful 1-year-old spayed Border Collie with an impressive collection of tricks. She already knows “sit,” “down,” “paw,” “spin,” and “up up,” which prompts her to sit up and wave. Her favorite activities include chasing balls and playing with stuffies and rope toys.Millie enjoys spending time with people once she feels comfortable. She allows petting and interaction while playing and will happily trade a toy for a treat.New environments and unfamiliar people can initially feel overwhelming for Millie, so she will thrive with a calm, patient, and experienced handler who will allow her to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her playful, affectionate, and clever personality begins to shine.Because Millie’s compatibility with children has not yet been fully assessed, a home without young children is preferred.
