Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mixes — often called Golden Pyrenees — are big hearted, gentle, and people loving dogs who blend the Golden’s affectionate, eager to please nature with the Pyrenees’ confidence, independence, and guardian instincts. Teddy loves to play, enjoys other dogs, and has a soft, friendly play style. He hasn’t met cats yet but would be open to a meet and greet. As a Pyrenees mix, Teddy will grow into a large dog with natural guardian instincts — patrolling, occasional barking, and a love for outdoor freedom — so a small apartment likely isn’t the best fit. A fenced yard isn’t required, but it would be helpful this year so he can potty and explore on his own time, just like his breed prefers.   Teddy is working on potty training, crate training, and leash skills.
