With her babies safe and thriving, this princess is finally ready for her own happily ever after. Ella is the definition of a Pyr who doesn’t know a stranger. She greets every person with warmth, confidence, and that soft, steady sweetness the breed is known for. She is fully housebroken, rides beautifully in the car, and walks gently and effortlessly on a leash, making her a lovely companion for neighborhood strolls or weekend adventures. She carries herself with an easy grace that makes her feel like she truly belongs in a castle. In her foster home, Ella blends in effortlessly with dogs of all sizes - from a 45‑pound golden retriever to the resident pack of Great Pyrenees, whose smitten males think she hung the moon. She plays with everyone, joins in without ever being pushy, and loves to lounge on the dog bed while gently mouthing and playing with the younger male Pyr. She’s calm, observant, and enjoys patrolling the yard and fence line so a 5-foot secure fenced yard is a must; she’ll give a protective bark if she spots something concerning on the other side. Cats? She adores them. Ella happily shares her food dish, her bed, and her space with feline friends. Her versatility makes her a dream match for many homes. She could thrive with other dogs or be perfectly content as an only dog - perhaps with a cat or two to keep her company - and regular doggie play dates to let her socialize and stretch her legs. This dog travels with an Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met. Housebroken: Yes  Can be Placed With: Dogs, Cats, Kids  Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed. Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues.
