Meet Astrid — A Sweet Little Momma’s Girl Meet Astrid, a beautiful medium-haired tabby with gorgeous green-hazel eyes and a heart as sweet as her face. Since coming into foster care, Astrid’s coloring has changed a little, and she is developing some beautiful white, tan, and gray tones throughout her coat — making her even more unique as she grows. Astrid is a true sweetheart. The moment her foster mom walks into the room, Astrid comes right over to say hello. She loves her pets and is always happy to get some attention. She has also earned enough trust to let her foster mom hold her like a baby and give her little tummy kisses. ❤️ She absolutely loves playing with her siblings and is happiest when she has a playmate to romp around with. But despite being playful and adventurous, Astrid seems to be a bit of a momma’s girl. She has a special bond with her mom and loves knowing that she is nearby. When she's ready for a nap, Astrid has a couple of favorite spots: her mesh hammock-style bed or a big dog bowl. Apparently, the best kitten beds don't necessarily come from the pet store! And when Astrid isn't busy cuddling or sleeping, she's ready to PLAY! Her favorite activities include: Destroying cardboard boxes — apparently, they are much more fun when shredded. Watching the world from the window Climbing and exploring Running through her kitty tunnel Chasing feather toys Wrestling and playing with her siblings Astrid is the kind of kitten who offers the best of both worlds — playful and curious when it's time for fun, but sweet and affectionate when it's time to cuddle. With her beautiful eyes, soft medium-length coat, playful personality, and loving nature, Astrid is sure to bring a whole lot of love, laughter, and kitten chaos to her forever home. If you're looking for a sweet little girl who will greet you at the door, happily accept tummy kisses, and then immediately go destroy a cardboard box, Astrid might be your perfect match! Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is  $125 for all our cats. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, have been feline leukemia/ feline aids tested, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped.
