Meet Blue, a 4-year-old American Bully mix weighing about 50 pounds who is truly an amazing dog. His foster family describes him as friendly, happy, adaptable, loyal, and incredibly easy to live with. Blue doesn’t know a stranger, adjusts quickly to new situations, and is happiest when he can be with his people. He’s an expert cuddler, loves his people hard, and has a sweet and silly personality that has really blossomed in his foster home. Blue is house-trained and crate-trained, and he does awesome in his crate without making a peep, whether it’s overnight or while his foster family is away. He enjoys simply hanging out around the house, taking brief walks, and playing with his toys. He also loves a good game of fetch and is always happy to hop in the car and tag along for an adventure. Blue knows sit, down, paw, and stay, and he listens very well to his people. Blue has done well with dogs of all sizes. He has not been around cats in his foster home, but they feel he may do well with them given his low prey drive and ability to listen when redirected. He is a laid-back, low-maintenance guy who doesn't need a packed schedule to be happy. Give him some toys, a little time to play, a comfortable place to relax, and his people nearby, and Blue is content. Blue needs an adult-only home. Above all, Blue just wants to be with his people and give them all the love he has to offer. His foster family has loved having him and says he has been such an easy foster. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, easygoing companion who would be perfectly content hanging out at home with you or joining you for an adventure, Blue may be your guy. His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
